Mr. Sununu's argument fails to deal with some important costs: those of pollution and global warming.
These
costs are not reflected in the price of oil and gasoline. Hence the
need for some government action to equal the playing field for renewable
resources.
His claim that market forces have reduced the level carbon dioxide
emissions laughable. He seems not of have noticed that we are in a
recession. It is that that has reduced those emissions..
